Lillet Blanc is a classic French wine-based aperitif produced in Podensac near Bordeaux. The recipe blends 85% Bordeaux wines (mainly Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc) with around 15% citrus liqueurs, created by macerating sweet and bitter orange peels along with quinine and other aromatics in spirit before blending with the wine. The mixture is then aged in oak casks to harmonise the flavours.

The result is a light, golden aperitif with a bright, citrus-driven character and aromas of honeyed quinine, honeysuckle and candied orange peel, alongside notes of lemon zest, apricot and tropical fruit. On the palate it is gently sweet with soft texture, balanced by delicate quinine bitterness and fresh acidity.

Fresh and versatile, Lillet Blanc is designed to be enjoyed well chilled either served over ice with citrus or lengthened with tonic or soda for refreshing aperitif drinks.
