Shipping policy

Difford's Shop orders are delivered in the UK by DHL or DPD, and internationally by DHL, who will send you tracking information once your order has been dispatched. 

Print items are made to order and despatched by our print partner. They will send tracking information to you.

Liquid items are delivered only to UK destinations.

We offer free delivery on orders over £99 that are being shipped to a Mainland UK address (excluding Scottish Highlands, Islands and other remote areas). Our collection of art prints is excluded from our free delivery offer - this is because they are printed on demand by an external partner and are shipped separately from other items in our shop. 

With our standard delivery service you can expect to receive your items within 2 - 5 working days of placing your order.

We offer next working day delivery for orders placed before 2:00 pm Monday to Friday. This service is available for Mainland UK (excluding Scottish Highlands and Islands and other remote areas). Deliveries are not made on weekends or Bank Holidays.

If it's more convenient, please collect your order from us directly. We are based in East Sussex and our address is The Clocktower, Sherbourne Valley, Hastings Road, Rye (just outside the village of Northiam), TN31 6HY.

Tax & duties: UK sales tax (VAT) is included in sales to the UK.

International orders

Please note that for orders shipped outside the UK, import duties, taxes and customs fees are collected by us at checkout. These charges are set by the destination country. The EU has recently introduced a €3 tax on each item type in a parcel, below €150 and this is in addition to any previously set duty or taxes.

All orders must be signed for on delivery by an adult aged 18 years or over. If no one of that age is at the address when the delivery is attempted your items may be retained by the driver. When your items arrive, it is important that you check immediately the condition and quantity. If your items have been damaged in transit, you must refuse the delivery and immediately contact us so that we may dispatch a replacement quickly and minimise your inconvenience.
