Edmond Briottet Tonka Liqueur

Edmond Briottet Liqueur de Fève Tonka is made by macerating Brazilian tonka beans in neutral spirit, before adding sugar to create a rich, aromatic style. Produced in Dijon, it reflects a traditional approach to fruit and botanical liqueurs. 

The tonka bean brings a distinctive, layered profile often likened to vanilla, almond and warm spice, with hints of caramel and light bitterness. The palate is smooth and rounded, combining sweetness with a gently earthy, nutty depth. 

Unusual but highly versatile, it works well neat over ice, in desserts, or as a cocktail ingredient, pairing particularly well with rum, whisky or coffee-based cocktails.
