A stand-out Super Tuscan from San Felice in Chianti Classico, made from 100% Pugnitello, an ancient indigenous grape whose name means 'little fist'. Grown on calcareous marl and gravel, then aged 18 to 20 months in French oak barriques and eight months in bottle.
Deep and savoury, showing black fruit, smoke and spice over bitter cherry, mocha and spicy oak.
Made for spicy stews, rich beef or lamb dishes.
