A richer, more structured Saperavi from Bedoba, off vines planted in 1984 on deep black slate in the Kindzmarauli and Kvareli microzones of Kakheti. Fermented with native yeasts in buried clay qvevri and aged in French oak, then over a year in bottle.
Rich and complex, showing dark berries, wild herbs and black pepper over a streak of minerality, with refined tannins and a long, silky finish.
Made for lamb, game or anything off a charcoal grill.
