A Georgian red from the country's signature Saperavi grape, grown in the historic Kakheti region on thirty-year-old, largely organic vines. Mostly fermented in stainless steel, with a little in traditional clay qvevri, then aged across steel, large wooden vats and older American oak.
Deep purple and bold, showing blackberry, herbs and black pepper over a juicy, structured palate of concentrated dark fruit and ripe tannins.
Try it with grilled meats and rich dishes.
