Giffard Poire William (Pear) Liqueur

This pear liqueur, made by Giffard & Cie, a fourth generation family-owned producer in France's Loire Valley, is made from "Poire William" eau de vie.

The most commonly grown type of pear worldwide is the William pear, named after the renowned English gardener. Recognised for its fine, juicy, and fragrant flesh, it is often consumed raw or in desserts, as well as used in liqueurs and eau-de-vie.
