G. Miclo Framboise Sauvage Grande Réserve

A wild raspberry eau-de-vie from Distillerie G. Miclo, a family distillery working in the Alsatian valleys of Lapoutroie for over sixty years, and a house speciality. Wild raspberries, far more aromatic than cultivated fruit, are macerated and then slowly distilled in copper pot stills by the bain-marie method, keeping only the heart, before ageing in the cellars to earn the Grande Réserve name. The nose is immediate and intensely pure wild raspberry; the palate is round and balanced, its fruit long and persistent.
