Dale DeGroff's Pimento Aromatic Bitters

Dale DeGroff, the bartender widely credited with reviving serious cocktail-making in America from the 1980s, first at New York's Rainbow Room, put his name to these allspice bitters. Allspice berries are infused and distilled with select botanicals and Mediterranean spices. Chestnut brown and pungent, with clove, liquorice, anise and cinnamon on the nose, and a bitter, barky palate of black pepper, cinnamon and clove with a mouth-drying finish. A few dashes add warmth to whiskey drinks in particular.
