Warninks Advocaat Liqueur is a traditional Dutch egg liqueur known for its rich, custard-like texture and sweet vanilla character. Produced in the Netherlands, it is made using just four core ingredients: brandy, egg yolks, sugar and vanilla, resulting in a smooth, velvety style with a distinctive creamy consistency.

Advocaat itself is a classic liqueur style dating back several centuries. The combination of egg yolks and spirit gives the drink its signature thick, almost dessert-like texture, often compared to custard or eggnog. Warninks is one of the best-known brands of the category and remains particularly popular in the UK.

It can be enjoyed chilled on its own or used in cocktails, most famously the Snowball - a classic mix of advocaat and lemonade, sometimes with a squeeze of lime. Although our favourite cocktail with advocaat is the Champagne Snowball, created by Simon Difford. Why have a Snowball when you can have a Champagne Snowball?!
