G. Miclo Kirsch Vieux Grande Réserve

A cherry eau-de-vie from Distillerie G. Miclo in Alsace, made from small, sweet semi-wild black cherries fermented whole with their stones to keep the characteristic almond note. It is slowly distilled in copper pot stills by the bain-marie method, keeping only the heart, then aged in the cellars to earn its Grande Réserve name. Intense and fruity, showing fresh cherry, almond and marzipan over a long, clean finish.
