From Domaine des Tourelles, founded in 1868, made from Cinsault vines over fifty years old in the western Bekaa Valley. Hand-picked and fermented with native yeasts in concrete for ten days, then aged a year in concrete and six months in used French oak to soften the tannins.
Perfumed and svelte, showing ripe fig, red cherry and plum over a note of star anise, with balanced acidity and fine tannins.
One for the table with Mediterranean cooking, marinated meats or anything off the barbecue.
