A traditional Châteauneuf-du-Pape blended from 70% Grenache, 20%, Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre. The hand-harvested grapes are from 60 year old vines on clay and chalk with classic large peebles near the plateau de Carbières (close to Château Montredon). The grapes undergo a traditional long 'cuvaison' with extended 21-24 days maceration on the skins to extract colour, fruit and tannins. The wine is aged for 14-18 months in large oak “'foudres” barrels.
