If you like aromatic, characterful white wines with great structure and complexity, you’ll love this stunning Riesling. Dry, but bursting with fabulous fresh fruit flavours, this wine delivers refreshing acidity with great balance and length – it’s Riesling at its best.

Widely regarded as one of the most successful wine co-operatives in the world, Cave de Turckheim only produces wine from the grapes of its member growers. It keeps a very tight hold on standards and quality in the vineyards, aiming for viticultural excellence.

Cave de Turckheim has been a pioneer of organic viticulture in Alsace and now has 35 hectares of certified vineyards - the largest organic vineyard holdings in the region. Many of the grape growers have even gone a step further and have started using biodynamic practices, such as not tilling the soil, using natural fertilisers, such as nettle, horsetail and comfrey, and using natural alternatives to chemical treatments. This wine has been made from selected parcels of vines averaging over 45 years of age.

Taste guide: bursting with zingy lime, fennel and a whiff of petrol. On the palate you’ll find concentrated flavours of ripe lemon, grapefruit, stone fruit, hints of lemongrass and a mineral complexity on the finish.
