Stone's Original Green Ginger Wine

The classic English ginger wine, to a recipe said to date from 1740 and sold under his name by the London grocer Joseph Stone. Made from a gingered and ungingered raisin base, warming and mellow, showing root ginger over a raisin sweetness. The traditional partner to Scotch in a Whisky Mac.
