From the celebrated Martinenga vineyard, a south-southwest-facing amphitheatre owned by Marchesi di Grésy since 1797 and one of Barbaresco's most prized sites. 100% Nebbiolo, hand-harvested, then aged twelve months in French oak barriques and a further twelve in large Slavonian casks before bottle ageing.
Complex and structured, showing wild cherry and dried rose over spice, tobacco and a note of wet earth, with fine tannins and a long, persistent finish.
