Beesou is a British aperitif made from natural ingredients, with ethically sourced British honey at its heart and no artificial flavourings, colourings or refined sugars. It is B-Corp certified, and a portion of proceeds goes towards bee conservation - hence the name. The distinctive golden colour comes from natural safflower extract. At 11% abv it sits comfortably in the lower-alcohol aperitif category alongside the likes of Lillet and Cocchi, and has picked up a string of awards including IWSC Gold in 2025 and London Spirits Competition Gold in 2024.

The flavour builds in layers: complex top notes of cinchona bark and chinotto give way to bitter orange and pink grapefruit, which rounds into the mellow sweetness of raw honey on the finish. Serve over ice as a Spritz with good tonic or prosecco, or use it as a cocktail ingredient wherever you want a honey-bitter note. Check out our recommendations below.
