A caraway digestif with roots near Riga in 1823, brought to Britain by Ludwig Mentzendorff in the 1850s and now made at the Combier distillery in the Loire Valley. Clean and aromatic, showing caraway over cinnamon and cumin, with a cooling sweetness. Traditionally served ice-cold as the golfer's drink, or over ice as a digestif.
