A classic French aperitif made at Podensac near Bordeaux, blending around 85% Bordeaux white wine, mainly Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc, with citrus liqueurs, quinine and aromatics, then aged in oak. Light and golden, showing candied orange, honeysuckle and honeyed quinine, gently sweet over a soft bitter edge.
