Domaine Perraud, Mâcon-Villages

Domaine Perraud Mâcon-Villages is a white Burgundy from the Mâconnais in southern Burgundy, made from 100% Chardonnay. Domaine Perraud, founded by Jean-Christophe Perraud, focuses on expressive, terroir-driven wines that highlight the freshness and balance typical of the region.

The fruit comes from vineyards around villages such as La Roche-Vineuse, Verzé and Hurigny, where clay and limestone soils help produce Chardonnay with both ripeness and mineral structure. These soils, together with the region’s sunny exposures, encourage full flavour development while maintaining natural acidity.

Fresh and expressive in style, the wine has aromas of white flowers, citrus and orchard fruit. The palate is medium-bodied and rounded, with flavours of apple, melon and white peach, supported by lively acidity and a clean, refreshing finish typical of classic Mâcon-Villages Chardonnay.
