Domaine Chante Cigale Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes Rouge is a concentrated Southern Rhône red made from Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre grown on the plateau de Carbières. The vines are over 65 years old, with some approaching 100, producing extremely low yields that give the wine its depth and intensity.

The grapes are hand-harvested and sorted, with each variety vinified separately. Fermentation lasts around 18–24 days with extended maceration, followed by maturation in a mix of new oak barriques and concrete vats, allowing the wine to develop structure while preserving the character of the fruit.

Deep and powerful in style, the wine shows aromas of kirsch, dark berries, bay leaf and graphite. Full-bodied with firm tannins and concentrated fruit, it finishes long and complex - a classic partner for roast lamb, beef and other rich dishes.
