A Lodi Zinfandel from De Loach, farmed sustainably on sandy, loamy soils. A pre-fermentation cold soak and warm maceration build colour and structure, then ageing mainly in stainless steel with a little seasoned French oak to keep the fruit to the fore.
Rich and expressive, showing ripe blackberry and black cherry over sweet spice, full-bodied with bold fruit and ripe tannins to a smooth finish.
Made for barbecue, burgers or sticky ribs.
