A Russian River Valley Pinot Noir from De Loach, founded in Sonoma in 1973 and now Burgundian-owned by the Boisset family, who saw the region's kinship with Burgundy. 100% Pinot Noir, fermented in open-top wooden vats and aged twelve months in French oak.
Medium-bodied and multi-layered, showing strawberry, cherry and raspberry over dark plum, a touch of rhubarb and delicate spice, with bright acidity and moderate tannins.
