De Loach, `California Collection` Chardonnay

De Loach California Collection Chardonnay 2024 is a Californian white made from 100% Chardonnay, sourced from sustainably farmed vineyards in California’s Delta region. Here, the cooling influence of the Sacramento River helps preserve the grape’s natural acidity, allowing the fruit to ripen fully while retaining freshness and balance.

In the winery, the wine is fermented primarily in stainless steel, with a small portion aged in oak to soften the palate and add texture while maintaining the purity of the fruit.

Bright and expressive, it shows aromas of grapefruit, lemon and orange peel, followed by flavours of green apple and pear on the palate. The finish is crisp and mineral-driven, highlighting the wine’s balance, freshness and elegance.
