Birdy Kwānt Strainer, 18-8 Stainless Steel

Named after Erik Lorincz's Mayfair bar, the Kwānt strainer carries the same eye for detail. Made from high-polished 18-8 stainless steel, it is built for the large MT-800 mixing tin and other big tins and oversized mixing glasses, dropping in to hold the ice as you strain. The handle is narrowed to suit any hand, the angle works in either direction, and every edge is smoothed against nicks during fast service. It slides cleanly into the tin for throwing, too. Strong and light at 105g and 190mm, a serious tool and an elegant one.
