Developed with Erik Lorincz, the Birdy Double Tin Shaker is described by the Birdy team as a 'masterpiece' of innovation. The smaller 500ml tin sits naturally at an angle within the larger 800ml tin, creating a straight line that supports a longer, more efficient shaking motion.

Both tins are weighted to improve balance and centre of gravity, helping maintain a consistent rhythm when shaking. A finely bevelled inner edge on the smaller tin reduces damage to ice, while the precise fit and overlap allow for a secure seal without excessive force when separating.

Each tin is formed from a single piece of stainless steel with no seams, then hand-polished vertically in the direction of the shake. This finish encourages faster chilling and improved aeration, contributing to a smoother, more integrated cocktail.
