Bedoba, Saperavi Reserve

Bedoba Saperavi Reserve is a richer, more structured expression of Georgia’s flagship Saperavi grape, sourced from vineyards in the Kakheti region, particularly the Kindzmarauli and Kvareli microzones. 

The Reserve comes from vines planted in 1984, rooted in deep black slate soils, fermented with indigenous yeasts in buried clay qvevri and aged in French oak before more than a year in bottle. The 2021 vintage was one of the finest in recent memory. Rich and complex on the nose - dark berries, wild herbs, black pepper, a streak of minerality - with refined tannins and a long, silky finish. Best with lamb, game or anything off a charcoal grill.
