Aliança Reserva Bairrada
Aliança Reserva DOC Bairrada is a Portuguese red made from a blend of traditional local grape varieties, led by Baga (70%) with Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional. Produced in the Bairrada region on Portugal’s Atlantic coast, the wine combines the structure and freshness typical of Baga with the fruit and aromatic lift of the supporting varieties.
The grapes are partially destemmed and macerated for five days before fermentation in stainless steel.
Medium-bodied and expressive, it has mixed berry aromas with spice and earthy notes, followed by flavours of plum, black cherry and liquorice on the palate. Fresh acidity and elegant tannins give balance and structure, resulting in a vibrant, characterful red that pairs particularly well with roast lamb and grilled meats.
